Architectural technologist invited to join expanding technical team and support senior technologist in technical stages of a project and to as best possible realise and the Architect's vision.
Leading UK practice who have recently attracted a lot of attention through frankly outstanding and innovative design. They offer their clients a full range of architectural services, including master-planning and have an in house modelling team to aid in client presentations.
They work in numerous sectors and are best known for their work on a number of high profile projects on Commercial, Residential, Retail and Leisure Sectors. They excel in design and approach every project as one unto its own, starting with an ambition to understand the project's core essence and to then develop a bespoke architectural solution, in collaboration and open dialogue with the client.
Throughout all projects, they work holistically across all RIBA stages in depth to ensure all elements are considered, actively liaising with external consultants and stakeholders to accuracy and quality not only of design but all structure and build.
You can expect to play a key role in the technical development of some high profile projects across residential, retail, public sector and commercial projects throughout the UK. Typical activities will include:
- revit modelling
- producing both standard and bespoke technical details
- ensuring compliance with building regulations
- collate required information for planning approvals
- attending site visits as required etc.
You will throughout your career have flexibility to move dynamically between sectors and gain a comprehensive understanding of sector specific requirements.
Over and above a minimum expectation of revit competency and 2years experience, you will have bags of enthusiasm, energy and curiosity for Architecture in general. You throw yourself hole-heartedly into everything you do and are on a quest to constantly improve and better your understanding of how buildings work.
You are social and enjoy integrating and working cohesively with your colleagues. To be successfully you must have a good basic level of revit and used the software working on live projects.
