Established company based in South of England with annual turnover of circa £8 million requires a commercial manager to oversee all commercial aspects of the business.
The individual should have wide experience in the construction industry working for both main contractors and private clients. Experience should include all aspects of contract management, quantity surveying, commercial negotiations with clients and sub-contractors.
A focus on increasing profitability and the development, implementation and oversight of appropriate management systems is required. Production of accurate and timely information to facilitate co-ordination with the finance team is essential.
Reporting directly to the board day to day responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of the contract management team
- Oversight of the Quantity surveying team
- Supervision of the estimating and pre-contract activities
