Your new role
Your new role will be Construction Manager on a major substation project based near Fort William. Overall responsibilities will include the management of all construction activities in relation to works undertaken by the Company, or managed works procured via competitive tenders. Other aspects you will be responsible for as part of this role is delivering the works programme to the clients programme and budget, reviewing design and contractual options during the design process, overseeing measurement and valuation of work carried out, managing the distribution of site supervision staff and complying with all relevant Health & Safety legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Construction Manager with a track record of success in major projects including substation projects. You will be confident in all aspects of Construction Management and have the ethic of always striving to deliver projects to an excellent standard. You will have your SMSTS, CSCS and desirably your First Aid certificate.
What you'll get in return
You will be working on a major substation project on a temporary contract expected to last between 3-6 months, and paid a competitive daily rate.
