Considerate Constructors Scheme Monitors
Considerate Constructors Scheme
Locations: Aberdeenshire/Inverness, London, Midlands, Northamptonshire, St Albans
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice. The Code commits those registered with the Scheme to care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment, secure everyone’s safety and value their workforce. The Scheme monitors any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole.
Due to the continued growth of the Scheme, we are looking for experienced industry professionals to carry out construction site and company visits across the north of Scotland, London, the Midlands, Northamptonshire and St Albans.
Our national network of experienced Monitors visit and report on construction site and company activities, providing guidance and encouragement in order to raise industry standards and improve the image of the industry.
This role offers flexibility and would suit those looking for a part-time position or for a role that fits around existing commitments. If you are a current or retired experienced industry professional, with a wide and comprehensive knowledge of the UK construction industry, then this role is ideal for you.
Monitors are self-employed and remunerated per visit. Monitors are able to carry out as many visits as they would like, subject to a minimum of five visits per month.
If you are passionate about improving the image of the industry, and would like to make a valued contribution to raising standards across construction, please email your CV with a covering letter to us by clicking Apply Now.
