Our client, and ASX listed business, is seeking Regional Commercial Managers to oversee the commercial function for various geographical regions of their business.  Projects range from civil and structural, oil and gas, mining NPI, and renewable projects, with a total value of about $750m. 

With full sponsorship provided for the right candidates, my client is looking to take on 3 x Regional Commercial Managers for :

  • Perth WA
  • Melbourne VIC
  • Auckland NZ

You will display a minimum of 5 years working for Civil Contracting Businesses involving either civil or structural aspects on public infrastructure projects. You will be well versed in all contract’s administration and management duties such as:

  • Ensure that all contracts meet the legal, commercial and corporate standards and agreed benchmarks
  • Control all commercial, cost control and cash flow activities for the project
  • Strong client management skill
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the head contract and of the proforma subcontracts
  • Ensure the effective implementation of commercial and financial risk management procedures.

The ideal candidate will display strong client management, while still maintaining a positive team environment.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Finance
  • RICS qualified would be a preference
  • Significant experience in commercial and contract management roles within civil construction sector
  • Exposure to large civil infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland
  • Strong Financial Reporting and Subcontractor management background
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Clear and effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
