This company boasts a diverse client base spanning, NHS services, charities, Universities, Local Authorities, pension funds and more, and with such a varied client bases comes a diverse range of services and instructions.
With the business looking to the future, the partners of the Woking office have identified the opportunity to appoint a graduate surveyor who they can support and develop into a Chartered Valuations Surveyor.
Your new role
Your new role will be to assist the Woking Commercial Property team with their daily responsibilities, shadowing senior surveyors during property inspections, client meetings, and receive instructions from them that will help build on your surveying knowledge.
As a graduate you will cover a number of areas of commercial property including property management Landlord & Tenant matters, Lease Renewals, Valuations and more.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need a degree in real estate, surveying, or an equivalent RICS accredited course.
You will need to be a strong communicator and highly presentable as this is a professional client facing role where communication and presentation is key.
You will be highly organised and able to manage your diary and workload effectively.
It is essential that you possess strong literacy skills as written reports and email correspondences will be an important aspect of your role.
You will need a fully valid UK driver's license as you may be required to travel to meetings or site visits independently.
What you'll get in return
In return for your commitment to this role you will receive a number of things from the business.
The first is an annual salary of £22-25K per annum, which is above the market average for a graduate. You'll also be auto-enrolled on a company pension with a 4% employer contribution (5% employee).
You will included in a company bonus scheme which will be based on your performance in your role, and you will also be provided with support and mentoring towards your APC, with senior surveyors and APC councillors on board to ensure you hit your key competencies and get to build experience in a number of interested areas of commercial property
