Main Duties

The Clerk of Works (Mechanical Inspector) is responsible for confirming that mechanical equipment under East Kent Housing's (EKH) management is maintained in line with the relevant statutory regulations and standards, in order for all of our residents' homes to be safe and efficient.

This role is primarily based in Aylesham and required to work within any of the four Local Authority partner areas on a regular basis including travel to EKH offices, Client Councils and managed assets/properties. This post therefore requires you to have a full driving licence and own transport or requires travelling to sites in a timely manner equivalent to motor travel in your own car.
