Architectural Technical Coordinator invited to join a privately owned house builder in supporting the Technical Managers in appointing relevant consultants as required, and from time to time support on the production of working drawings.

Description

This role as Architectural Technical Coordinator will have you work as an integral part of the Technical team. Unique to this position you will be working on all/most of their live portfolio as you support the Technical Managers move schemes forward across various aspects of preconstruction. This can will include:

  • appointing consultants and collating technical information, ensuring timescales are met
  • supporting Technical Managers with checking technical information for accuracy
  • uploading information to various portals for planning and/or building control
  • arranging for air tests and SAP assessments
  • producing/altering Architectural working drawings as required in AutoCad, and producing any further ancillary information as required
  • visiting site and answering technical queries

Profile

To be successful for this position, you will have a background within Architecture and ideally exposure to working on volume residential development schemes; this can be either from within consultancy or developer. You will have a good understanding of modern construction methods, in particular traditional build and timber frame, with an excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations. You will be able to use AutoCad and other software (such as Adobe CS) is advantageous.

Access to a car is required for visits to site across Northamptonshire.
