Your new role
As Site Manager you will be fully responsible for taking on the challenge of planning and running a medium to large housing project on the South side of Edinburgh. From managing and coordinating with your team of loyal and well resourced subcontractors to liaising with your internal commercial , design and sales team you will be the pivotal person in the successful delivery of this project.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client are looking for the industry's best and a strong track record with a recognised and well respected housebuilder would see you get an immediate interview. Ideally you will have at least 5 years experience as a site manager but our client are willing to consider candidates with less experience if they possess the necessary character traits of hard work, high expectations of yourself and your team and excellent all round housebuilding expertise.
This role is demanding and you will be expected to work in a high pressure environment at a high pace. You will also understand the importance of professional communication with your colleagues, clients and stakeholders and at all times put the interests of your project first! Natural leadership ability along with exacting standards are essential.
