Architectural Technical Coordinator required to join the technical team of a housebuilder in the East Midlands and support on procuring/producing, reviewing and submitting technical information through building control and planning ready for prompt start on site.

My client is one of the UK's leading privately owned housebuilder, operating primarily across the Midlands, the North and Scotland. They have recently revamped and upgraded their portfolio, holding nothing back when comes to attention to detail and finishes. Their core market is the second and third time homes buyers and they're expanding at a rate of knots

Description

This is a pivotal role with in the business to ensure the smooth flow of information between all stakeholders such that all technical information is procured, reviewed and processed ready for prompt start on site. typical duties will include:

  • Assist with the production of layouts and technical reports, and prepare working drawings, details and specifications, with minimum supervision.
  • Provide technical support and information to Construction, Commercial and Sales Departments, and maintain good communication to ensure the required level of service is maintained.
  • Assist with fee negotiation, and the appointment and management of external consultants.
  • Monitor, produce and submit information to discharge planning and building regulation conditions.
  • Prepare Sales and Legal information e.g. Conveyance Plans, Sales Area Layout Drawings and Site Compound Layouts, including POS's, S38, S104 adoption plans and the like.
  • Obtain and check information from external architectural consultants, and suppliers and manufacturers for supplementing working drawings
  • Profile

    You will have received formal training and received a qualification within the built environment (Architecture, Technology, Building Studies etc.). You will have 2-5 years working in industry, and must have experience of working with housebuilders, either direct or from within a consultancy, is key in order to understand its specific processes and be able to hit the ground running with live schemes.
