Health, Education & Public Sector

£80000 - £90000 plus package

The London Health, Education and Public Sector Cost Management business unit of this global consultancy continues to grow, successfully securing projects with many high profile clients and some key London programs including the Parliamentary Estate and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.  As a direct result of this growth, they are currently seeking a full time Associate with Public sector experience.

The successful candidate will be someone who is looking to progress to being a Director within a set timescale, subject to performance.  The role will therefore include taking responsibility for care and growth of existing clients and (with support) gaining new clients and business.

Given the variety of Public sector clients, your sector experience will include a blend of commercial, industrial, science, blue light and health building types, both new and refurbished projects, including some heritage buildings.  Experience required is of cost planning, procurement and post contract with various contract types including NEC3.  Security clearance an advantage

As an Associate, you will be working alongside a Director to successfully manage and deliver various projects generally across the Greater London region.  The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case estimates, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and the commissioning phase.

You will possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects typically ranging between £2m to £30m. You will help develop collaborative relationships with clients and other professional colleagues within the industry. You will have day to day client point of contact responsibility for projects.  The successful candidate will be organised and self-motivated, being able to successfully work with the minimum supervision.
