To ensure the efficient running and first line maintenance support to all service contracts, maintaining systems and databases under the guidance of the Facilities Manager.
To set up and clear away practical classes to meet the needs of academic / demonstrator staff
To ensure all equipment is in good working order, meets relevant health and safety conditions and is stored appropriately.
To take a key role in health & safety matters, working to ensure a safe environment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Assisting in risk assessments, and maintaining appropriate records under the guidance of the Facilities Manager
To ensure rooms are ready and equipped at the start of and throughout each term, supporting the Facilities Manager in the regular purchase, receipt and storage of equipment and consumables..
Any other duties within the scope and grade of the post as directed by line management.
