Our client a leading social housing provider based in Lincolnshire is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join them on a temporary basis to cover long term sickness.

Your overall responsibility will be to provide support to the H&S Manager ensuring that Health & Safety remains at the forefront of the company dynamics.

Resolving day to day issues you will provide support and advice to employees to ensure the development of the health & safety culture within the company. Although you cover all areas of the basis there will be a focus on the Property Services section ensuring compliance. Key duties will include collation of statistics, making recommendations to H&S Manager for improvements, assisting in the provision of coaching and mentoring where required, development of training and maintaining accurate records.

Our ideal candidate will have varied experience of health and safety topics and will likely hold a NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent. The ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and across numerous projects is essential to ensure delivery within cost limits and time constraints. A pragmatic and positive approach to problem solving is also required.
