Document Controller for a London based modular building company with residential sites in Kent.

Your new company
A modular build company based in Central London who specialise in modular residential properties within the South East of England. Their interior pods are created to finish within a warehouse, and then transported and placed on site where exterior walls are added. With two big projects coming up in the next year, of over 100 houses each, they are looking to expand their team.

Your new role
This company is looking for a Document Controller to be based on site and assist the Site Manager with the documentation on site and handover to the client. Responsibilities will include; keeping track of labour on site, including maintaining health and safety, inductions and submitting time-sheets, and ordering materials based on requirements then arranging and checking the deliveries of goods. You will also be aware of what EHS documentation is required on site and ensure it is in place, and create letters, reports and other documents as required by your colleagues. You will liaise with the client's Clerk of Works to ensure a regular hand-overs, including site diaries, pictures and other documents collated during construction.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a highly organised worker, with previous experience as a Document Controller for a residential new build project. You will need to have excellent communication and computer skills; a knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial. You must have previous experience looking after health and safety matters on site, and previous procurement experience. An NVQ in construction, engineering or a related discipline is preferable, and you must hold an SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
