Assistant Building Surveyor

A multi-disciplined Building Consultancy based in Surrey are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to work on a varied portfolio of properties all over Surrey and Greater London.

This opportunity is designed for an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor with a clear path to carry out all necesasary discipline's to achieve MRICS status. The position has a strcutrued route to work with some of the South East's more sought-after client's and join an extremely quality driven team.

The Role

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will hold a broad spectrum of responsibilities and be given the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors.

Assistant Building Surveyor day-to-day

  • Measured Building Surveys
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Contract Administration
  • Assisting a Chartered Building Surveyor to improve industry knowledge
  • Report Writing
  • Party Wall work
  • Dilapidations)
  • Auto-CAD design work where necessary
  • Liaising with clients

This is an opportunity for the successful Assistant Building Surveyor to become a valued team member and gain Chartership through an experienced APC Assessor in an extremely well thought of company.

The Person

  • At least 12 months Building Surveying experience within a Consultancy/Private Practice role
  • Currently undertaking/ Planning to undertake APC
  • BSc/MSc in Building Surveying
  • Confident/Enthusiastic
  • Client Facing
