Mentor is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful, privately owned construction and development group which is looking to appoint an experienced Project Director or Senior Project Manager, ideally you will have recent construction experience of delivering major retail fit out and new build projects. The ideal person will have recent experience of working for a large principal contractor and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Headquartered in the Midlands, the company offers nationwide coverage, building long term partnerships with blue-chip clients within Commercial, Education, Accommodation, Health, Retail, Industrial & Distribution sectors.
Main responsibilities will include:
Manage projects safely and deliver a quality product on time.
Ensuring adequate on-site resources at all times
Carry out all technical aspects of the projects
Day to Day supervision of the projects
Delivering the projects within agreed cost parameters
Timely and accurate reporting, including risks and progress
Lead project teams on a nationwide basis
Key candidate requirements:
Experience of new build projects, retail and fit out work
Strong HS&E skills
Must be prepared to be based on sites throughout the UK
Degree or at least 8 years relevant experience
Developed application in related work.
CSCS Level: Contracts Manager
Membership of professional body is preferable.
