An international commercial Real Estate consultancy are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their expanding Central London, Building Consultancy team. This is a role ideal for an Assistant Building Surveyor looking for the necessary exposure and training to be able to successfully pass their MRICS in the next 12 months.

With the Central London branch looking to expand their Building Consultancy team by 50% over the next 2 years, this company offer an award winning and tailored APC program for Assistants aspiring to become chartered. The company have a commitment to delivering a tailored APC approach to all surveyors aspiring to become Chartered and are extremely focused on growing the Building Consultancy organically.

The Role

The new Assistant Building Surveyor will work under an extremely experienced APC assessor in a team of 10 Building Surveyor and have a broad range of responsibilities including;

  • Building surveys
  • Defect diagnosis
  • Specifications
  • Neighbourly matters
  • Dilapidations

This is an expanding team of Surveyors located in a large open-plan, state of the art office.

The Successful Assistant Building Surveyor

This role is ideal for an Assistant Building Surveyor hoping to become chartered over the next 12 months. A minimum of 18 months Building Surveying experience for an individual needing to tick off some APC competencies or complete their final case study before sitting their final exam will be ideal.

  • 18 months+ Private Practice/ Consultancy Building Surveying experience
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Experience in dealing with both Project and Professional Building Surveying matters
  • Committed to career progression
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
