Commercial refurbishment, fit-out, D&B Contractor looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator role with specialist commercial fit-out and design and build contractor based in Southampton. The role is paying from £45,000 - £55,000 + package with the company take on a range of refurbishment, fit-out and new build schemes.

Your new company:

A Specialist Contractor who complete a range of commercial projects and provide a number of services from internal / external fit-out, commercial new build to small works and M&E insulations. They have a strong focus on the retail and leisure sector and have a range of clients which include high-street names such as Costa, Sainsbury's, Homebase and Santander. This family run business has successfully traded for a number of years and due to this success now requires a new Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join the team.

Your New Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator you will responsible for commercial, contract and financial administration of pre-construction activities and projects as assigned. You will oversee numerous projects simultaneously which can range from £250,000 up to £4million in value. As the business provide a turnkey service you will need to be commercial adept at all aspects of the role tender and pre-construction stage through to final accounts.

What you'll need to succeed:

To succeed within this business you will need to be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Have managed commercial new build and fit-out projects previously and in recent history with experience within retail sector. As well as being able the above, you must be a qualified construction professional, holding all relevant Qualifications.

What you'll get in return:

In return you will receive either an annual salary from £45,000 - £55,000 DOE. Package benefits include £4,500 car/allowance, mileage and expenses benefits, 22 days holiday, up to 6% pension contribution and private medical care.
