Do you want to be a part of a world leading contractor working on one of the most ambitious and complex rail projects of all time?

A tier 1 main contractor has the need for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on the UK's fourth busiest station as they are now moving on to the next phase of the station's redevelopment, focusing on the Mechanical and Electrical fit out of the station. The project has an overall aim of improving both passenger and rail capacity by 40%.

The company have a fantastic track record of delivering outstanding civil engineering projects and the successful Quantity Surveyor will need to have an excellent understanding of the ICE form of contract as well as experience of change management and variation agreement, with good sub-contract management experience. The project is a major station that involves M&E and fit out works, requiring a Quantity Surveyor to oversee key packages of work valued in the region of £10m.

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Experience working on rail station M&E / fit out projects
  • Excellent understanding/knowledge of ICE contracts
  • Degree qualified or equivalent
