Maintenance Manager (Planned Investment)
York Housing Association is looking to recruit a motivated and experienced individual to join us as Maintenance Manager (Planned Investment).
This position is central to the coordination and effective delivery of investment programmes and compliance works to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, whilst providing excellent value for money and offering our customers the best possible service. You should have experience of programme planning, project delivery, managing budgets, procuring construction contracts and managing staff.
Collaborative work experience with partner contractors to ensure early resolution of delay or disputes that may arise. You will have working experience at manager level in a contract management and surveying role.
Residents are at the heart of everything we do so we’ll expect you to have experience of working in a customer-focussed organisation. Good knowledge of undertaking stock condition surveys.
You will be able to demonstrate good IT skills, including the use of asset management database systems.
Whilst a relevant professional qualification is not essential, this would be advantageous. Candidates should be educated to HND or degree level in Building Construction, Surveying or Quantity Surveying or be able to demonstrate a minimum of 10 years working experience in the field.
