Carrying out reactive maintenance and customer service requirements on a variety of sites.

Client Details

Our client is a high-end residential housebuilder working across the South East of England. In particular they have a number of residential new build sites covering the area of Kent.

They are well known and have an excellent brand image for quality and service.


Customer Service Operative - Top Tier Housebuilder

Operatives work across all sites and will mostly be responding to reactive maintenance issues raised by customers to the office based Coordinators.

Mostly private residential projects. There will be some social housing but there is not a lot of work with Housing Associations. Ideally they are looking for candidates with experience working in a private background. This is because there is usually a big difference on the level of customer interaction between private and social housing projects.

Candidates should be able to show the following skills or attributes:

  • Able to work independently
  • Experience working on new build residential projects
  • Interacting with customers on a regular basis, diagnosing issues and providing solutions
  • Come from a trades background, with particular skills and hands on ability
  • Enthusiasm to take on new tasks and develop in the role / business
  • Desire to progress further up the Customer Service chain
  • Good all round technical skills including painting & decorating, carpentry, basic plumbing and electrics, plastering and tiling etc
