The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a senior position within the Company to support all operational functions from our Head Office and stocking depot in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. 

We are looking for a strong, meticulous individual with a proven record (preferably in Formwork Operations, though other allied industry sector experience would be seriously considered), coupled with a with an evidenced background in both stock and administration management.  Experience within all areas of logistics, purchasing and stock management is essential.

The position involves working alongside a small, focused management team in order to provide a key supporting role toward the continued success and growth of the business.


Duties Include (not exhaustive):

  • Forecast and movement of all stock, taking into consideration forward demand, stock returned from site, supplier lead times and stock awaiting repair.
  • All aspects of stock management including servicing, budget control, minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinating stocktakes.
  • Purchasing management and taking responsibility for the control of assets within the business.
  • Regular supplier meetings to manage cost prices, lead times, new products and quality.
  • Overseeing the Head Office based administration team, in particular; processing of orders, off hires and collections, management of equipment hire and sale rates and authorisation of purchase orders, whilst maintaining high standards within the process to avoid errors and inability to chase payment with our customers
  • Management of our yard team to ensure the best practices are followed in respect of health and safety, repairs, transport and workload.
  • Value engineering is also a vital component to the role, striving to continue in making each process/product more efficient from the viewpoint of manufacture, use of materials and cleaning of hire stock
