Our client has gained a reputation for setting exceptional standards within the industry. Due to unprecedented growth, we are seeking to employ an Experienced Contracts Manager to be based in Head Office in South Wimbledon.

Skills & Experience Requirements

The successful applicant will be a mature team player and will be:

- Highly motivated and dynamic

- Enthusiastic and commercially minded, with a proven track record in managing contracts

- Qualified with  a degree in Construction, Building Surveying or relevant field

- Experienced within the field of external refurbishment and restoration/ conservation

- Responsible for projects from commencement to completion, including financial matters

- Able to work on their own initiative


Main Duties & Responsibilities

- Managing projects to ensure stringent quality standards, Health and Safety standards, and fiscal control are met to produce successful and profitable projects;

- To oversee and be solely responsible for a number of large quality restoration projects, primarily in the London area;

- Vetting, appointing and managing sub-contractors;

- To price variations and prepare valuations and final accounts;

- To prepare monthly interim project cost reports for the directors and clients;

- Resolving contractual disputes with both sub-contractors and clients;

- Client liaison and to build on an existing robust client base;

- To report fortnightly to the directors on project progress, programme, quality and finance;

 - Managing site teams to ensure compliance with both Health and Safety and Environmental legislation

Salary: £50K - £65K DOE + Package
