Planner, RC and build
Planner with experience in mixed Residential/Commercial/Leisure schemes £35 - £150m. City sites.
Needs practical planning and good written and oral communication skills. Reporting to the Construction Director you will probably have 5-7 years relevant planning experience to handle this role. £85,000 negotiable, with benefits. Head office role.
Planner with good experience in whole construction cycle, taking projects through from conception to fitout, completion and handover. Experience gained in Residential, Hotels and Commercial work in the London market is preferable, whilst experience in build and fit out in Residential or Hotel developments may prove suitable. The role is offered as either a permanent or contract role.

Typically comprising mixed Residential / Commercial / Leisure development. 5-7 years relevant experience in large D&B schemes is likely to be needed to understand the complexity of these schemes. With projects in planning for 2018 starts this will offer a fantastic opportunity to someone prepared to demonstrate innovation and enthusiasm.
Principal contractor role. Head office based with site visits to offer practical advice and involvement.
You will need good multi-storey RC frame experience, ideally through to fit out and handover. You must be self-motivated with good relevant previous experience. The finished buildings will utilise most of the site footprint so innovative ideas will be called for.
Relevant experience working on substantial projects for a Developer or Contractor is needed. Expertise from the Groundworks to completion is ideal, though expertise from the completed RC frame through to handover is more important. You must be used to working in the London market.
This is a position with an established contractor. The Contractor works extensively in the south-east, so future projects will usually fall within this area. You must be self-motivated.
Practical experience on site prior to pursuing the Planning career route would be an advantage as you will be familiar with the Construction issues in the field. Formal qualifications are not essential, though a good working knowledge of Planning programmes will be an asset.
Your Communication skills must be strong in both oral and written expression. Your role will involve working closely with both the Commercial and Technical sides, as well as liaising with the Site Team.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Translating detailed information from contract documents into Construction programmes
- Formulating short-term and temporary works programmes
- Ensuring that programmes and revised programmes are distributed to all relevant parties including project team and sub-contractors
- Co-ordinating and managing information within the project, including design and technical information.
- Forecasting and reporting variations from the agreed construction programme and cost plan
- Liaison with Project Management and the Commercial side
Salary and Package. The overall Package of £85,000 is negotiable dependant on your proven experience and ability.
