Minor Works Supervisor
Your new company
A new job with a large national contractor has arisen in Aberdeen. This company recently won a large contract within the Aberdeen region and require a highly skilled Clerk of Works to join their team. You'll be an integral part of the team that will ensure the successful delivery of various minor works projects. You'll report to the Head of Projects directly and be given multiple projects to work on simultaneously.
Your new role
You will inspect various properties and identify the requirement for fabric, electrical, building or mechanical minor works. You will review technical drawings, use bills of quantity and put minor works out to tender. You'll resource sub-contractors, mobilise the supply chain to deliver the works to final completion and approval according to all CDM and HSE requirements. You'll then ensure the work is completed to the required standards
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Clerk of Works, Surveyor or come from a mechanical or electrical background and have contract management experience. You'll ideally have some Public Sector experience but also be able to work within a fast paced environment. You'll also need to have a Disclosure Check completed and be enrolled onto the PVG Scheme for this job which will be determined by my client after a successful appointment.
