About the company: This company is a highly regarded and respected privatised specialist sub contractor within Groundworks & RC Frames that have been established for over 35years. They have established themselves as one of the strongest sub contractors in the South East able to deliver the all in one package for their clients, using all their own plant, and having the knowledge and experience to deliver all the demolition, groundworks and frame effectively. Current turnover is £160m+ .
About the role: This is an ideal role for someone with 3 to 4 years Site Health & Safety experience that is keen on progressing and developing your career into a more Senior role. The client require a Health & Safety Manager to be based out of Head Office reporting directly to the Group Health & Safety Director and the Managing Director. The contractor has residential Health & Safety Advisors onsite that you will need to manage on a daily basis and that will have to report directly to you. You will be the link between the site and office. This client takes Safety very seriously and require someone with the same ideals.
About the requirements: You must be either degree qualified or hold a NEBOSH Certificate. The client is open to a candidate from the tools that has strong safety morals and professional manner. You must have the ability to liaise with Site Staff and be able to manage other Health & Safety Advisors. The client will consider someone from a main contract background as ideally they want a candidate that is looking to progress to their career.
