Steel frame contractor - Landmark Project Central London - Site Manager
Site Management opportunity with a growing and well respected steel frame contractor. Due to the business success they are now looking to employ a new Site Manager to join the existing team. One of the leading steel frame sub-contractors who have been successfully trading for over 70 years. The business work with leading Tier 1 contractor on landmark projects predominately in central London. The packages they manage range up to £20 million including, commercial high-rises, rail stations and power stations. The businesses success has been on the "bespoke" quality and the precision of their work.
Your new role
As Site Manager you will be reporting into Senior Management and the superstructure site services Director. You daily responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordination of all site activities day to day
- Pre-commencement and construction phase planning of site
- Procurement and management of sub-contractor and in-house erectors and engineers
- Health and safety
- Monitoring, recording and documentation of the company's site activities including compilation of site progress reports
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a manager with a strong steel frame contractor understanding, having worked on large scale projects. Candidates which have progressed from a steel erection / site engineering background or have experience within a Tier 1 environment managing steel frame packages. The business value their core principles and the quality of work they produce so professionalism in your day to work is key. Your work ethic is also vital due to the nature of the work and the programmes you will be delivering. You will be expected to work above and beyond a typical day to day to deliver the projects as required.
You will need to have the below qualifications as a minimum:
- Black, Site Management CSCS
- SMSTS or IOSH
- CPCS Appointed Person - lifting operations
- Full Driving License
What you'll get in return
