Framework Manager for leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor in Hertfordshire

A leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor requires a Framework Manager to work on Water contracts in the region covering Thames Water, Affinity Water, and Southern Water. The main part of this role will be to close out existing projects and contracts and put the processes, and procedures in place in order to allow this contractor to position themselves in a strong position for the next round of frameworks on AMP7.

Accountability

The successful post holder will report to the Director for the region and will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the contract as well as the performance of those within his/her team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage health, safety and environmental performance
  • Maintain and develop effective working relationships with client
  • Develop and deliver budgets
  • Achieve financial performance targets
  • Challenge existing ways of working and drive changes for more efficient working
  • Commercial and contractual negotiation with the client
  • Manage human resource issues, including staff training.
  • Successful delivery of client KPI targets and productivity
  • Ensure high standards of work quality are maintained
  • Control overtime, expenses and wages payments
  • Initiate and support supply chain management and integration
  • Recognition and maintenance of the need to provide excellent customer service
  • Build and motivate effective teams
  • Encourage and develop clear communication and liaison between all levels of the business unit
