Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Linden Homes in an Technical Administrator role in our Caterham office as part of our Technical Team. This role will see you providing support and secretarial functions for both the Technical Director and the Technical Department.


Key Responsibilities

  • To manage, coordinator and document the distribution of all technical details including drawings and specifications.
  • Managing the commissioning of key consultant appointments for all sites; raise orders and update relevant spreadsheet's, liaise with consultants and internal team for each site to ensure Technical Managers are kept up to date.
  • Carry out CQMS Checks
  • Manager PO's for consultants, invoice logging/signing off, maintaining fee schedule and manage queries and amendments to ensure the smooth running of technical procurement process for each site.
  • Liaise with Local Councils and NHBC
  • Maintain and update user register on NHBC Portal.
  • Ensure all data in Department is archived and managed to ensure conformity with data storage and system requirements.
  • To perform general secretarial duties for both the Technical Department and Technical Director.
  • Assist in management of diaries and arrangement of meetings.
  • Open, sort and distribute mail.
  • Answer all incoming calls in a professional manner as a priority, effectively screening calls.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Good level of organisation and wok/time management/
  • Able to work in an administrative capacity in a business environment, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies.
  • Able to work accurately with data, to include updating of excel spreadsheets.
  • Good level of IT Literacy with experience of Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • High standard of English and Numeracy
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle an advantage but not necessary.
