Senior Hydraulic Modeller- Glasgow **Flood Modeller**
Are you a Senior Hydraulic Modeller based in Glasgow looking for a new opportunity to manage and complete Flood Risk and Fluvial Modelling Projects? Would you like to join a UK based Consultancy based in the heart of Glasgow?
It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and MSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Coastal Engineering and proven experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing and managing Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling or Coastal Projects for Local Authorities, Public and Private Sector Clients.
Candidates are also required to have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow or Hec-Ras.
It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Project Management and Bid Proposals.
This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team of specialists based in Glasgow to complete Flood Risk, Flood Estimation and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Local Authorities, Government Bodies and Private Sector Clients.
As a Senior Modeller you will also be required to mentor team members, prepare bid proposals and complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Catchment Management Plans.
-Flood Estimation using ReFH and FEH.
-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
-Project Management, Team Mentoring and Bid Proposals
