Salary up £42,000 + Package

We are working on behalf of a learning and support provider who help people off the streets, out of abuse, over skills barriers and onto independence and work.

This support provider is searching for an M&E Compliance Surveyor to join their newly formed Asset Management and Compliance Team.

You will provide effective leadership and management of Mechanical & Electrical services including, gas, electrical, asbestos, fire safety, legionella, lifts, and any other related services to ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legislative responsibilities across the organisation.

As an experienced surveyor, you will be responsible for all areas of Landlord H&S compliance including planning, controlling and delivering the annual programmes, as well as carrying out M & E surveys, preparing specifications and tender processes for refurbishment or improvement of properties.

The role will essentially be a client role ensuring that as an organisation we remain compliant whilst ensuring on site delivery standards are high; achieving value for money and customer satisfaction and will involve extensive liaison with external contractors, design, agreement of specifications, procurement, contract administration, financial monitoring, Stock Condition / HHSRS surveys and interaction with tenants and leaseholders.
