Their London Office is a hub for transport projects with a clientele ranging from land owners, developers, 'blue-chip' companies, leisure operators and public sector bodies. They aim to provide high quality advice to solve their clients' problems. Their business relationships are built on trust and are for the long term. The Partners have over 100 years of combined experience of development planning projects and use this to develop the skills of their more junior staff. They provide an innovative approach to solving our clients' problems, with a thorough knowledge of the planning system and specialist transport planning and traffic engineering skills, the teams deliver intelligent, cost-effective solutions specific to the needs of each project.
Your new role
The London Office is looking to take on a bright post-graduate with some experience working within transport planning for a private sector consultancy. Ideally you would have developing skills within development planning including writing and editing transport assessments, statements and/or travel plans. The new role will involve working mainly on report writing including transport assessments and statements, and will also develop your business development skills ready to bring in work from a Senior level upwards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful applicant, you should have graduated with a recognised degree in Engineering, Geography, Transport planning or other related discipline. You should be a good communicator and looking to take the next step in your career. With great guidance and development opportunities this could be the start of the next chapter of your route to the top. Skills within development planning nurtured in a private consultancy for at least a year will be beneficial however don't be put off applying if you have less than one year practical experience as long as you have some.
