Role Overview:
Based in the Wolvey office (Leicestershire), but with a requirement to attend site visits and Client meetings throughout the UK, the Planner's primary role is supporting the Contracts Manager to develop detailed tender, pre-construction and construction phase programmes for design and build Critical National Infrastructure Security projects and programmes.

This position requires experience in the planning, development and implementation of integrated design and build contracts and involves liaising with cross-functional teams with diverse technical backgrounds. This person will need to accept and seek responsibility for planning tasks and outcomes associated with delivering the various phases of the projects. An ability to plan effectively in combination with a collaborative approach to working with others will be paramount to deliver the requirements of the projects.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Asta, Microsoft Project and Primavera planning software.
  • Liaison and interface with other team members to produce initial and updated contract programmes for acceptance/approval.
  • Production of resource loaded programmes to identify sequencing, critical paths, float and combined financial data for Earned Value Management (if required).
  • Weekly input into the management activity to ensure outcomes are planned for and achieved
  • Monthly reporting for internal and external reviews and discussion via meetings
  • Previous experience on the NEC3 suite of contracts.
  • Previous experience on Critical National Infrastructure Security projects preferred (but not essential).
  • Security clearance to SC level preferred and you must be eligible to gain BPSS or SC level Security Clearance and thus this role is only open to British Nationals.
