Job Description:
RIBA Appointments is seeking Design Director for a practice in Hertfordshire. This practice combines a reputation for innovation with a long history of excellence in construction.
The practice is seeking a Design Director to lead the development of concepts and inspire others to think laterally to evolve the big idea. You will need to continually drive leading edge creativity and share responsibility for the team's creative stimulation and exposure to current trends. Develop positive client relationships through confident interactions with the client.
Ideally you should have over +10 years' experience working within a design field. You can come from any design background but you'll most likely be drawing upon at least six years creative experience and your application must also include an up-to-date portfolio that showcases your skills and creative talents.
The ideal candidate will have but not limited to:
• Responsible for the conceptual ideas
• development and completion of all design work on client assignments
• lead team briefings and regular progress reviews
• Provide direction and insight across the board
• ensuring relevant skills are deployed effectively across assignments
