Your new company is a NHS Foundation Trust working in the Bristol Area. They provide patient care, education and research, working closely with the local Universities to find cures for a variety of illnesses. They are committed to working closely as a partnership with all local Healthcare providers to develop the Bristol and South West community. As they are a public sector body they are supported by the government as well as local communities.
Your new role
Your new role is for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in the centre of Bristol. You will be responsible for ensuring that the building is maintained and fit for purpose. You will be working within the maintenance team to provide and ensuring that all planned and reactive maintenance is completed correctly. You will also be responsible for onsite compliance and Health & Safety. Another element of your role will be to Prepare, implement and deliver a documented maintenance programme (both planned and reactive) for all building elements as well as making sure all water systems, pumps and boiler houses are maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role you will need to have experience working within a commercial building and have a proven track record of maintenance. You will also need to have either City & Guilds level 3 in plumbing / heating or have completed an apprenticeship within mechanical or plumbing. You will have to pass DBS check if successful.
What you'll get in return
In return for all your hard work you will receive a salary of up to £26,000 plus holiday and pension. You will be working within a public sector body and within a unique environment. This is a great role for somebody looking for an exciting challenge.
