About the role

You'll join our Business Development team, who lead our organisation, in discovering, developing and winning opportunities for our teams. These exciting, often ground-breaking infrastructure projects, make a real difference to the lives of people.

Working closely with our Business Development Manager and wider Preconstruction team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying future opportunities and market trends, leading the production of winning submissions for prequalification, bids and awards, gathering and sharing evidence, production of project profiles, raising brand awareness through the creation of consistent and compelling presentation material in digital and print format.

Reaching out and responding to potential customers, building relationships and promoting the benefits of BAM as a partner. During customer interactions we have a critical window of opportunity to differentiate BAM, promoting how we create value and make a difference, beyond building.

You'll collaborate closely with our company Preconstruction and Communications team to align with Group messaging and branding guidelines.

Your key skills, qualifications and experience should include:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of social media channels.
  • Familiar with Office 365 applications including SharePoint, Microsoft CRM.
  • Experience with publishing software and common data environments preferable, e.g. InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and ProjectWise or willingness to learn.
