Assistant Design Manager - (D&B Rail Station) - London
Our client is a leading UK construction and engineering business with over a hundred years of history and the successful delivery of projects covering Civils, Rail and Building. They are starting a new project later in the year and have a need for an Assistant Design Manager with D&B Rail station experience. Having been awarded the contract to build a significant new £40M overland station as part of an infrastructure upgrade supporting a major new mixed-use development. The Station will include two new island platforms, two new entrance halls with lifts escalators etc and a large overbridge.
Your will responsibilities will include:
Supporting and coordinating all design elements of the project making sure they are delivered on time and on budget. Including overall design production and quality, design budget and schedule, design risks.
Taking the project from concept through Preliminary and Detailed Design through Testing & Commissioning site support to hand-over.
Best practice technical knowledge sharing, coordinating between colleagues and relevant departments.
You will have:
A relevant construction degree (Civ Eng etc)
Relevant design and project coordination experience to include at least one similar scale D&B rail or underground station.
An understanding of relevant BIM standards.
