Associate Building Surveyor
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Chartered Building Surveyor to join a firm in London to work with well known property clients on a range of commercial and other projects.
Duties will mainly be project work to include contract administration and project management.
You will need to have good technical experience and a good understanding of construction and property generally.
You will be involved in working on projects from inception to completion.
You must be able to work without supervision and be able to do work within required timescales on a number of project concurrently.
This role will provide the opportunity to earn what you are worth and will reflect directly how much you have achieved.
Our client is U.K. firm of surveying consultants.
You will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma or MSc in Building Surveying plus you will need to be MRICS qualified.
Ideally you will have at least five years post qualification experience or more.
You should be working either for another firm of building surveying consultants or with a client organisation.
Good experience of project work is essential e.g. contract administration, project management etc.
Experience of some professional duties useful.
You should have good client facing skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.
You must be able to deal with a number of projects concurrently.
A full UK driving licence and own transport is preferred although most projects are in London.
Salary is as follows:- c. £49000 basic salary per annum plus £20K guarenteed bonus for the first year. After that you will earn 40% commission on fees after costs are removed so for example if your basic is £49000 and you invoice £225K you will earn over £80000, if you invoice £250K you will earn over £88000 and if you invoice £275K you will earn over £96000, and if you invoice £300K you will earn over £104000. There is no top limit on earnings. Other benefits will include pension etc.
