Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity to work within a leading office interior design company. With offices covering the south and midlands there is now a genuine desire to expand reach to the north, namely Manchester and Leeds. In order to expand their client base they are looking to grow their own business development department with somebody who knows the D&B market in Manchester and Leeds.

We are looking for the usual gusto from a BDM, enthusiastic, driven and experienced. Along with these usual traits of any successful BDM, it would a great advantage to have previous experience of Workplace Design & Build.

The client is a family run business with over 25 years of experience within the office interior design industry and stands out amongst its competitors. They provide businesses with the opportunity to increase productivity through innovative interior design proposals. It is the ideal platform to provide inspiration for office refurbishment and interiors and to make potential clients more aware of their workspace surroundings and the positive impact redesign can have.

The role will require a confident and energetic candidate with a desire to move up through the business. This opportunity has a real potential for promotion within the business and is a great opportunity to make a mark on an industry proven interior design company. You will be involved in liaising with clients and conducting lead generation conversations to help generate new business and to ensure client relationships are created and maintained.

We would like this person to be based in the Manchester/Leeds region and you must be happy to commute on occasion to Birmingham for internal meetings. This will be a role managed from Birmingham so a trust worthy, self starter is top priority.
