Hertfordshire Building Control is a highly-regarded, modern and progressive building control company based in South East England and we are seeking a high-calibre Chief Executive to build on our current success and drive commercial growth for our partner organisations.

As our Chief Executive, you will be responsible for the leadership and development of the strategic direction of Hertfordshire Building Control and our holding company, Broste Rivers and be responsible for the overall success of the business. You will bring a strategic view and steer the company in the most profitable direction while also implementing our vision, values and long-term goals.
We are seeking a collaborative leader with outstanding people and relationship skills, together with a track record of delivering commercial success. Someone who is solution-focused and who will bring creative and innovative thinking to how we identify opportunities to improve market share and offer high-quality services.
You will report to the HBC and Broste Rivers Board, defining our future direction, and developing an established blueprint to ensure further growth across the region and beyond. With a strong external focus, you will build relationships nationally, with new and existing partners and, within our organisation, you’ll continue to develop Hertfordshire Building Control’s reputation for investing in people, to support career development and progression. This is a pivotal time for HBC and we seek an inspirational leader to guide us to even greater success and fulfil our ambition of being the leading provider of choice across the sector.
