Commercial Manager

THE ROLE

I am seeking an experienced COMMERCIAL MANAGER to join my client in Saudi Arabia, initially in Jeddah, then in Riyadh.

My client is providing the full range of commercial and contractual support to a respected contractor who work on buildings and also infrastructure projects.

The contractor is a family run company working for good clients with a good workload.

This role is long term for the right candidate.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a firm of British / Middle East consulants who provide full commercial and contractual support to a range of clients including contractors, other consultants and clients.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be an experienced Commercial Manager with more than twenty years relevant experience in commercial management.

You should have gained previous experience of working in the Middle East in commercial management

You are likely to have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or in Commercial Management or similar. You may also be MCIOB or MRICS or similar although the right experience is more important.

You should be able to deal with non disclosure agreements, vetting of contracts prior to tender, deal with all aspects of contracts and claims, sort out JV agreements, insurances and ideally have worked on both building projects and infrastructure and the contractor that you will be supporting works on a range of construction projects of high value.

It is essential that you have a stable work record.

Good communication skills are essential along with the patience to deal with people of all nationalities and abilities. Good client facing skills are required to build and already good relationship with the contractor.

You will also need to be fully vaccinated and received your Booster Jab from one of the approved companies.

Salary is from £15000 to £18000 per month plus accommodation, flights, medical cover and a car + driver.
