Compliance Officer (Mechanical & Electrical) North East Based / Regional Role. Interim Contract

We are delighted to be working with an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) to recruit a Compliance Officer on a Contract basis. This organisation provides maintenance services to a variety of training centres across the North East Region as well as maintaining historic links to the community.
Your new role
As the Compliance Officer you will be expected to project manage a variety of technical works being carried out across the region. This will include overseeing contractors delivering both Statutory and Mandatory testing and inspecting services from Legionella to gas servicing and emergency lighting. You will also have the responsibility for monitoring the delivery of these works, ensuring all necessary compliance checks and procedures have been followed and completed and to also identifying any additional remedial works that are required.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a contractor who has previous experience working within a compliance role, as well as having a strong technical background within M&E.
You will hold a full UK driving license and have access to your on vehicle. This is a regional role and will require some travel between Northumberland to Teesside.
Experience working on local authority OR MOD projects is preferred, though not essential.
