Your new company
An established House building contractor operating across the Greater South London area now seek an experienced Defects/After sales Manager to join the established team. Coming off of their busiest year to date they currently have approx 300 Units in defects period and are looking for an experienced manager to oversee & co-ordinate any customer issues during this period.
Your new role
As Defects manager you will have full responsibility for the after sales department and be office based working as part of the construction team, The role will be varied and fast paced with involvement at all stages of the defects resolution process from Visiting site, Liaising with the customers, assessing the defects, organising any labour necessary involving the relevant subcontracts where still under contract. The role will involve updating directors on a monthly basis as to the outstanding and closed out defects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a strong multi-trade background as well as experience of diagnosing/assessing and closing out defects both at a hands on and management level. You will also be responsible for assessing whether the works should be carried out by the original subcontractors and the liaison involved in this process. Whilst office based you will be regularly out visiting properties and customers.
