This organisation are a dynamic, delivery-focussed company providing acquisition, planning, site audits, design, surveying, engineering, construction and DICI services across the UK telecommunication sectors. They have also expanded into Fixed Line services, providing high level designs, civil site surveys, low level designs together with civil and installation services for bespoke areas of work.
Your new role
The Design Engineer is an integral member of the Design Department and provides support to the Cad Technicians with the design teams. The Design Engineer assists the Project Manager, Design Manager, and CAD Technicians in the management and production of designs consisting of planning drawings, construction drawings and `As built' drawings to ensure projects achieve the clients targets and expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
As the Design Engineer you will need to be fully proficient in the use of proprietary CAD systems, i.e. AutoCAD. You will also need to have experience in the telecoms sector. You will need to be an effective communicator who can build relationships with clients.
