Design Technician - Luxury Residential

My Client is looking to recruit an experienced AutoCAD technician who will become part of a vibrant and dynamic team of people, liaising with the Design team and construction planners to create luxury residential property and projects. This studio offers a positive office culture - offering catering for staff who stay at the studio late as well as offering public transport and taxi fares for those who commit to late evenings. My client is looking for somebody who has a bubbly personality to work alongside a young dynamic team of people, proving previous technical ability from previous roles and developing further technical ability within this role. The desire to progress and build on your skill set within the company would be of interest.
Your new role responsibilities:
You will be responsible for liaising with the construction planners as well as senior designers and architects within the studio, the ability to work on multiple projects would be desired but not a necessity. You will be using AutoCAD or REVIT to do technical drawings and sketch's digitally. You will be responsible to present any floor plans, CAD drawings and construction detailing when necessary. Working throughout the process from the beginning of the project to the end, impeccable attention to detail and technical ability is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate at least 3-5 years' experience of your technical ability when using AutoCAD or REVIT, providing accurate measurements and detailing when producing presentations and pitches to clients. The ability to construct and structure your technical drawings, as well as execute from start to finish. Using your creative eye and interior/architectural background to influence your work. Somebody who has had experience in similar positions prior to applying for this role with an extensive portfolio of high standard residential projects and technical drawings.
