Your new company
A small electrical contractor based in derby who deliver install and maintenance projects in the commercial and industrial sectors to both public and private sectors. Projects range from £500 - £100,000 in value.
Plans for future expansion have created a vacancy for an Electrical Estimator / Business Development Manager to help price up their electrical jobs and develop new business and clients.
You will ideally be from an electrical background and able to offer technical expertise.
Your new role
- Liaise and support existing clients and maintain / develop existing relationships
- Identify and engage with new business targets that fit with the company strategy
- Research organisations and identify key individuals who have responsibility for outsourcing / buying / procurement
- Provide estimates and quotes for electrical works
- Design of marketing materials and campaigns
- Attend client meeting, site visits and tender meetings
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent technical knowledge of Electrical Services
- Experience estimating / tendering for Electrical Services Projects
- Strong Communication and IT fluency
- Able to work to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Able to manage time and workload effectively
- A good client base would be highly advantageous
