Your new role
As an estates officer you will be working on a full time permanent basis in Bristol. As an estates officer you will be responsible for ensuring to provide a safe, appropriate and cost effective environment to patients and staff. You will manage contractors carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and be professionally responsible for compliance such as asbestos, fire safety, environmental protection and building regulations. You will be responsible for design, detailed specification, procurement, planning and implementation of all projects related to compliance and associated remedial works within the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful estates officer it is essential you have experience of managing budgets and delivering services within budgetary limits. You must have detailed knowledge of other relevant current legislation/ guidance and associated statutory requirements and have experience of contractor management, especially with regards to planned maintenance activities and rolling programmes.
