Facilities Manager

A Facilities Manager position covering Essex and Suffolk, paying £33-35,000.

Your new company is a global infrastructure support service provider that's in the forefront of its market. Which is currently looking for an ambitious facilities manager to cover the Essex and Suffolk sites.

Your new role

You will be overseeing the delivery of qualified and experienced operatives, ensuring the relevant tasks have appropriate transportation, equipment and necessities to perform the tasks. Additionally, you will ensure budgets are in place to achieve these tasks, as well as monitoring site risk registers that are followed with correct management processes.

People Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining key relationships with local DIO and end users will be critical within your role. As well as liaising with the site team to provide knowledge, daily tasks and awareness of on-going maintenance. All within the agreed time and level of quality.

What you'll need to succeed

An ability to lead and motivate operational team to achieve KPIs, manage costs and deliver effective strategies of action plans. Significant experience in planning, directing and controlling activities within construction, property or maintenance related fields. In addition, you will be able to solve problems and make decisions in high pressure situations.

Moreover, to succeed in this role you will be IT literate in Microsoft Word/Access/Excel/Project. And obtain a HND Level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Or, a management level qualification in H&S and Environment.
