Contract Manager / Project Manager | Interiors - Commercial | Leicestershire
A Commercial office interiors company based in Leicestershire are looking for an Assistant / Junior Project Manager to join their business in order to help move their business forward and add value to their projects and client base.
This contractor deal with predominantly office and commercial interiors across the Midlands and cover a variety of aspects of a project including design from initial concepts, suspending ceilings, partition walls, flooring and they also look after the office furniture to do with a project. They are able to offer a full turn key package to their clients.
Ideally they are looking for someone who has experience working as a Junior Project/Contract Manager on similar projects within the interiors sector. Your role will involve:
- Reading a drawings and being able to take off quantities in order to order materials (adjusting the price should extra materials be required - variations)
- Managing projects from inception to completion
- Organising Labour on site
- Understanding interior fit out projects
- Client facing and being able to present well to new and existing clients.
It is essential that you have been involved from start to finish on projects and are able to estimate as well as project manage as this role is a combined role - where you will be involved from inception to completion.
You may have 1-2 years experience in your current role, or could have a number of years experience to offer.
