A land and planning manager job in Lancashire paying £65k + package for a construction business.
Your new company
You will join a developer / contractor who have been established within the Lancashire market for many years. They focus their time on D&B schemes and property developments. They work on projects for both private & public-sector bodies across the North with project values ranging up to £20m. They have various sectors to their business and are looking to strengthen their commercial division by appointing a Land & Planning Manager.
Your new role
As the land and planning manager for this company you will have the responsibility for managing all planning and development for the business solely within their commercial / industrial sector. Helping with the identification of land opportunities and the different stages of planning. You will have exposure to working at all stages of the construction process i.e. Pre-construction / Construction and Post Contract. You will report to their Managing Director and will have the opportunity to work autonomously and will have the full support of the board of directors.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in supporting and managing development schemes from start to finish. You will either be a development manager, planning manager or land manager for a developer or main contractor. You would be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of managing all planning related matters for complex sites and schemes. They are looking for this person to come on board and hit the ground running therefore a strong career background is essential.
